Jill & Sophie at FACE 2016

Jill & Sophie travelled to London as guests of Wigmore Medical Group to attended FACE 2016 from 16th-19th June.

FACE-Facial Aesthetic Conference & Exhibition, is an annual event attended by, Plastic Surgeons, Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Beauty Therapists from all over the world. It’s an event where aesthetic professionals gather to learn about new products, new treatments, new injectable techniques and new ways of providing a better service to their clients.

The agenda over the 3 days covered, Injectables, Body, Skin & Hair, all in their own dedicated rooms and lecture theatres.

National and international lecturers showed how to help delegates maximise results and minimise problems when using cosmetic injectables for total facial contouring. Different techniques, new treatment approaches and concepts were explored alongside practical demonstrations.

FACE provided a forum for practitioners to meet the Skincare Specialists, true experts who understand ingredients, formulations and the arguments behind competing concepts and brands. The forum focused on new topical approaches in preventing and treating signs and symptoms of ageing skin alongside the latest specific approaches to treating acne, rosacea and hyperpigmentation.

The highlight of the weekend for both Jill & Sophie was the meeting and discussion they had with Dr Zain Obagi, the Californian founder and skincare expert of the amazing ZO Obagi range provided here by Absolute Skin.

Jill commented about the weekend, “ FACE is so informative, even for people like myself who have been in this sector for many years. Every year I still learn and pick up new ideas and techniques, which is always to the benefit of my clients. Meeting Dr Zain Obagi was an honor and privilege and made this year extra special. The advice and information he provided to both myself and Sophie will be invaluable moving forward with the amazing ZO Obagi range.
